🧮 How many jobs can I post on Welcome to the Jungle?

The Jobs tab is present on all Welcome to the Jungle profiles. This is the tab where job hunters can browse through your job opportunities.

    Starter subscription

You are limited to 15 job posts a year, renewed on the anniversary of your contract.

    Pro, Pro+ and Master subscriptions

You can post an unlimited number of jobs.

By default, the yellow dot displays at least 1 job, corresponding to the spontaneous application option, which is active by default on the ATS. This means that even if you haven't published any job posts, job hunters can still apply at your company spontaneously and proactively.

💡 You can deactivate the spontaneous application job by archiving it in your ATS.

Pro+ and Master subscriptions enable you to connect your own ATS to your Welcome to the Jungle profile. This means you can use your own ATS to create and broadcast your jobs on your profile (find out more)—simpler, faster job posting!

🆙 Form: How can I make my job stand out from the crowd?

    The basics: Good natural referencing

The Welcome to the Jungle platform allows job hunters to filter jobs using various criteria. It's important that you specify as many criteria as possible so that your jobs rank higher in the algorithm.

    These criteria are:

    • Type of contract (and duration for short-term contracts)
    • Remote work: no remote work, occasional remote work, a few days a week, fully remote.

💡59% of Welcome to the Jungle applicants prefer jobs that allow remote working.

    • Occupation, i.e. the field of expertise of the position to be filled
    • Your company's sector(s) of activity

⚠️ Make sure you select 3 sectors to rank higher in the filter results.

    • Minimum level of experience required
    • Minimum level of education required
    • Proposed salary range

💡 Job posts including the salary range get 2.5 times more applications on average.

    • The working language needed for the job
    • The location (city / country) for the job

The most popular filters amongst job hunters are remote working (16%), occupation (19%) and contract type (80%).

Going further: using the Job booster

👉 This feature is included in Pro+ and Master subscriptions and is detailed in this article.

The Job booster allows you to move a job post at the top of job search results. Job hunters will therefore see this job before all others, if it matches their search criteria.

A yellow "Actively recruiting" banner appears on your job post, to attract job hunters' interest.

😍 The content: How to write a job post that appeals to job hunters?

    The job description

    • Choose an explicit job title with the right keywords.
    • Indicate which team you're recruiting for, so that future candidates have a clear understanding of your company's organization.
    • Give examples of achievements and missions, so that they can project themselves into the challenges of the job.
    • Specify how you will interact with different teams, so that they understand the scope of the position and its impact within the company.
    • Provide as many details as possible about the job so they can envision themselves in the role.

    Example:

    • For a sales position, clarify the breakdown between fixed and variable salary, whether the variable salary is capped, etc.
    • For a developer position, specify the technologies used, the team's methodology, etc.

    The profile you're looking for

    • Highlight the candidate's past achievements.
    • Adapt the criteria to the seniority of the position to be filled
    • Distinguish hard and soft skills
    • Check that the criteria are in line with diversity and inclusion standards.

    The interview process

This stage can be stressful for candidates. To reassure them, give them as much visibility as possible about what to expect.

    Here are a few suggestions:

    • The number of interview steps
    • What's at stake in each interview (e.g. business expertise, values, case studies, etc.)
    • The duration of each interview
    • The people they will meet, their job title and, ideally, a link to their LinkedIn profile.
    • Interview format: Video or face-to-face
