Team tab: write a clear and organized tab 👯‍♂️

Table of contents

💡 If you've got writer's block, this article is for you! We'll give you all our tips to get started on presenting your teams on Welcome to the Jungle.

1- A few words about the "Team" tab

The Team tab is located to the right of your Profile tab. It's often the second most consulted tab by candidates, which is why it deserves special attention.

The aim is to make candidates understand what your company's structure looks like in terms of employees: the different departments and their respective weighting in the organization chart, collaboration between teams and a description of their missions.

2- Write your Team tab (Standard)

You can have 3 interviews with your employees.

Beside the videos, we recommend adding a minibiography to provide information to the candidates about the interviewee.

Nothing fancy, here's a simple outline:

    • a sentence about the interviewee'sbackground
    • a sentence about their currentjob (what they like about it)
    • one anecdote / fun fact

3- Write your Team tab (Premium and Expert)

a - Write the Overview section

This is a global introduction to the teams.

We recommend that you go from  general to specific , explaining respectively:

    • main departments / business units
    • the various professions that make them up
    • the shared purpose and values

For a fast and smooth reading, we recommend using bullet points and put department names in bold (see our Markdown syntax guide).

One sentence for each department is sufficient, as they will be described in detail later in the various sections.

You can conclude with a general sentence that explains thecommunicationand collaboration  stylebetween teams.

b - Indicate the distribution of collaborators

Based on 100%, the idea here is to describe the weight of each team within your organization.

We recommend that you proceed in descending order starting with the most represented teams and ending with the smallest ones.

💡 There's no need to go into too much detail; what matters is that candidates understand at a glance what the main teams are, and which they'll potentially be a part of once they're in your company.

c - Create the key figures carousel

The key figures carousel is the yellow insert to the right of the employee distribution. You can put up to 3 key figures related to your teams. The numbers will scroll dynamically once on the Team tab.

You are free to choose your own key figures, but here are a few suggestions:

    • percentage of your employees working completely remotely
    • average number of years of seniority in the company
    • number of managers
    • percentage of managers promoted internally
    • statistics from an internal survey, such as the number of collaborator ambassadors for the company

d - Present your different teams

The aim of this section is to understand the organization of each team that makes up your company. These teams can be gathered by profession or area of expertise.

💡 For Pro and Pro+ subscription plans, the number of teams is limited to 5 teams. For the Master subscription plan, the number of teams is unlimited.

In all cases, you can associate one or more interviews within the same team.

Example of a showcase where 2 interviews are associated with the same team

The first frame is used to present each team broadly: its area of expertise, its missions, its challenges, its values.

Then, 2/3 of the page width is taken up by the collaborator's interview, and 1/3 by a text insert.

In this green insert, we recommend that you include a quote said by the collaborator, which may or may not come from the interview. The most important thing is that it should reflect the main idea the employee wishes to convey, the one that candidates browsing the Team tab should remember.
